John Leighton re-elected Chair of Inadequate Security Litigation Group

On July 25, 2009, John Elliott Leighton was re-elected as Chair of the Inadequate Security Litigation Group of the American Association for Justice (formerly Association of Trial Lawyers of America). Leighton has chaired the group since 1996 and recently published an update to his 2006 two volume book, Litigating Premises Security Cases. Leighton chaired and moderated the annual education program at San Francisco's Hilton Hotel, which featured as a keynote speaker Fred Goldman, father of Ron Goldman and plaintiff in the O.J. Simpson civil case.
